The campus expansion project at the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) consists of multiple renovations and new construction.
A new 45,000 square foot building will house CCP’s hospitality and culinary arts programs, campus food services, a dining venue and public meeting spaces.
Renovations include an 85,000 square foot “One Stop Shop” for student services inlcuding admissions, the registrar, the bursar, financial aid, and business offices and administrative space. Renovations also include a server room, an expanded atrium, classroom laboratories and theater.
Sustainable design features include green roofs (including planting herbs on the roof to be used by the culinary school), kitchen hoods were designed with variable speed controls to reduce fan speeds during idle non-cooking periods, and energy and daylight modeling.
