Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories

PWI was the lead consultant for this $35 Million extensive renovation and upgrade project for the 200,000 square foot pharmaceutical research facility.
The new research program included a 50,000 square foot new vivarium facility, bio-containment labs BSL-2 and BSL-3, research labs and support spaces, and new scale-up pilot plants. This multi-phased project included a 15,000 square foot new structure.
As lead consultant, PWI managed and coordinated the efforts of the lab planners, architectural design team, and structural and civil engineers. The 3.5 year project required intricate planning and scheduling to minimize disruptions to the ongoing operations and research.
