Back- The new 60,000 SF central plant serves as a replacement for decentralized plants on the campus. The plant is responsible for serving approximtaley 1.4 Million SF of the heatlhcare campus.
- The plant has the capacity of producing 108,000 lbs/hr of steam, 10,200 lbs/hr of chilled water, and 9.4 kW of emergency power. The plant includes electric chillers, gas/oil boilers, and natural gas/diesel electric generators with heat recovery.
- Site utilities included the routing of chilled watts, steam, condensate, and electrical duct bank approximately 3,000 feet around the campus in a loop configuration with multiple connection points to the buildings.
