Provided a feasibility study and designed a 2.0 mW paralleling, natural gas fired co-generation system, otherwise known as Combined Heat and Power (CHP). Our services also included providing project management as the prime design contractor along with mechanical, electrical, plumbing & life safety systems engineering in order to property analyze, design, specify and bid the CHP system.
PWI designed a 3.5 mW paralleling combustion turbine, with heat recovery steam generator providing steam for the hospital and new 1,000 ton steam turbine chiller with a new cooling tower site. Island operations are included with two 2,000 kW diesel generators and are the first phase of a new centralized emergency power system for the hospital.
